Welcome to Laval

Dear AQW Member,

It is with great pleasure and anticipation that "les Tisserins de Laval" are hosting this year the Association of Quebec Weavers convention and this for the third time since their creation.

As the hosting guild, we have taken all the steps necessary to ensure that your stay in Laval will be the most pleasant and beneficial. In accordance to our members wishes over the past few years, we have been very attentive to select a site where all the activities (except for lodging) of the convention can take place. On top of that, this site is easily accessible and you will be charmed by its magnificent setting.

To participate in an AQW convention is always a feast for the weavers; we come to learn the techniques and ways of production related to weaving, to marvel at the best creations of the members and to recognize them. In addition, this year will be marked by the celebrations of the thirtieth anniversary of both our organizations that mature gracefully together.

In order to underline this double anniversary in a tangible way, an informal fashion show will allow interested members to present and display proudly their creations.
